Brisbane Airport International Airlines

Here is a list of all the international airlines that serve Brisbane, with some photos and a bit of info about the flights they operate.

Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand operate multiple flights daily to Brisbane. From Brisbane they fly to Auckland, Christchurch, Norfolk Island and Queenstown (seasonal). The airline mostly uses Airbus A320s to BNE, however the daily NZ135/136 flight is operated by larger aircraft, usually Boeing 777-200ERs and 300ERs. Occasionally they operate Boeing 747-400s and Boeing 767-300ERs on this service as well. We also get larger aircraft on NZ137/138 which operates in peak seasons (summer and winter).

Air Niugini

Air Niugini operate one to two flights daily between Port Moresby and Brisbane. The majority of flights are operated by the airlines Boeing 767-300ERs, however two flights a week are operated by Boeing 737-800s. Brisbane also occasionally sees the airlines single Boeing 737-700 and also the odd Fokker 100.

Air Vanuatu
 
Air Vanuatu operate three flights a week to Brisbane using their single Boeing 737-800. Two flights a week fly from Port Vila non-stop to Brisbane, while one a week has a stopover in Espiritu Santo.

Aircalin

Aircalin operate two flights a week between Brisbane and Noumea using their single Airbus A320. In peak season the airline adds additional services and also use the larger Airbus A330-200 for some flights.

Cathay Pacific
 

Cathay Pacific fly into Brisbane 11 times a week. They operate four flights a week on a triangular Hong Kong - Brisbane - Cairns - Hong Kong route, three flights a week from Hong Kong - Cairns - Brisbane - Hong Kong and four flights a week non-stop to and from Hong Kong. All flights are operated by Airbus A330-300s.

China Airlines

China Airlines fly into Brisbane three times a week. The flight arrives from Taipei and then continues onto Auckland. The flight returns later that day from Auckland, and then continues onto Taipei. All flights are operated by Airbus A330-300s. Boeing 747-400s will operate the route from 28 November 2013 - 28 February 2014.

China Southern

China Southern fly to Brisbane daily. Flights operate from the airlines base in Guangzhou and are operated by Airbus A330-200s.

Emirates

Emirates fly to Brisbane twice a day. EK434/435 flies DXB-BNE-AKL-BNE-DXB and is operated by Airbus A380s. EK432/433 flies DXB-SIN-BNE-SIN-DXB and is operated by Boeing 777-300ERs.

Etihad

Etihad fly to Brisbane daily with Airbus A330-200s. The daily flight flies from Abu Dhabi - Singapore - Brisbane.

Eva Air

Eva Air fly into Brisbane twice a week (three times a week in peak season, December and January) using Airbus A330-200s, flights arrive from, and depart to Taipei.

Fiji Airways

Fiji Airways operates daily flights to Brisbane (additional services are added in peak season). The airline operates Boeing 737-800s to Brisbane. Their single Boeing 737-700 is also flown to Brisbane occasionally. All of the airlines aircraft now wear the new Fiji Airways livery.

Garuda Indonesia
 
Garuda Indonesia restarted flights to Brisbane on 1 August 2013. Flights operate from Denpasar (Bali) daily with Boeing 737-800s.

Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines have three flights a week from Honolulu to Brisbane using Boeing 767-300ERs. Due to strong demand the airline has been operating additional services to Brisbane in peak periods.

Jetconnect

Jetconnect is a subsidiary of Qantas and operate two flights a day between Brisbane and Auckland using Boeing 737-800s.

Korean Air

Korean Air fly into Brisbane four times a week from Seoul. They operate Airbus A330-300s to Brisbane, and in the peak summer season they add addition frequencies (usually increasing to six flights a week).

Malaysian Airlines

Malaysian fly to Brisbane daily. Flights operate from Kuala Lumpur and are operated by Airbus A330-300s.

Our Airline

Our Airline is the national airline of Nauru, although they are based in Brisbane. They operate one to three flights a week between Brisbane and Nauru, with some flights continuing onto Majuro (Marshall Islands), Tarawa (Kiribati) and Nadi (Fiji). The airlines operates three Boeing 737-300's. They also operate FIFO services and closed charters.

Philippine Airlines fly to Brisbane three times a week from Manila via Darwin using Airbus A320s. Philippine Airlines will be using Airbus A321s on this route until mid-January.

Qantas

Qantas operate multiple daily international services out of Brisbane. The airline flies from Brisbane to Los Angeles daily with Boeing 747-400s, daily flights to Singapore with Boeing 747-400s, daily flights from Dallas (inbound only) with Boeing 747-400ERs, daily to Hong Kong with Airbus A330-300s, a weekly flight to Noumea with Boeing 737-800s and a weekly flight to Queenstown (from June-August only) with Boeing 737-800s.

Solomon Airlines

Solomon Airlines fly between Brisbane and Honiara, four times a week with the airlines single Airbus A320.

Singapore Airlines fly from Singapore to Brisbane, three times a day with Airbus A330-300s.

Thai Airways

Thai Airways operate a daily service from Bangkok with Boeing 777-300s (occasionally using Boeing 777-200s). They will use Boeing 777-300ERs on this route from February 2014, these aircraft offer an upgraded interior, seats and IFE.

Virgin Australia

Virgin Australia operate multiple daily services to New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Queenstown), the Pacific Islands (Honiara, Nadi, Port Moresby and Port Vila) and Indonesia (Denpasar) with Boeing 737-800s. They also have four flights a week to Los Angeles with Boeing 777-300ERs.
