Brisbane Airport Domestic Airlines

Here is a list of all the domestic airlines that serve Brisbane, with some photos and a bit of info about the flights they operate. Apologies if I have missed any, I might not have some of the smaller FIFO airlines.

Alliance Airlines

Alliance Airlines are based at Brisbane and operate an almost all Fokker fleet. They have seven Fokker 50's (based in Adelaide), which aren't seen in Brisbane too often, seven Fokker 70's and eighteen Fokker 100's which are a very common site in Brisbane and a single Boeing 737-400 which is based in Perth. Alliance operate mostly FIFO services and closed charters. They do however operate some flights for Qantaslink, to Rockhampton, Emerald and Mackay. They have also operated for Virgin Australia in the past.

We will however continue to see them operate the odd flight out of Brisbane and also when they ferry up to Brisbane for maintenance. The majority of Qantas domestic flights out of Brisbane are operated by Boeing 737-800s. Qantas also operate many Boeing 737-400s and Boeing 767-300ER out of Brisbane. The Boeing 737-400s will be retired by the end of the year and the Boeing 767-300ERs will gradually be retired over the next few years.
